This is why strict "one size fits all" types of diets - such as keto, low-fat, and so on - only work for so many. And often, not forever.
Each person is different, diabetes or not, and your approach to health should be approached from the same stance. That's hard to do when there's not much support on discovering how your own body tries to communicate with you. Instead, most people want you to ignore it and decide that "you're doing it wrong." Sadly, this seems to be the status quo of most health pros out there these days.

Month 1 - Happiness Despite Difficulty
A lot happens in life when you live with diabetes, so we tend to do is react to everything. This directly makes our sugars harder to control. That's why we start by showing you how to significantly decrease burnout and be calm no matter the situation. It could lower your A1C, blood sugars - and COSTS - when you have this as a foundation.
Month 2 - Healthcare - The Simple Navigation Protocol
It's all confusing. You have surprise costs that can be avoided, you are told things many times that you find out aren't right, you spend a lot of time on the pone with people who don't know what to do themselves....there's most than this but this are very common issues. Your coach has worked behind the scenes and will fill in those gaps for you so you know what to do - therefore allowing you to protect yourself and stop wasting so much time and money.
Month 3 - Your Personal Health Plan (simplified)
You finally get to discover what works for you without being judged all the time for your mistakes. Here, you can create something for yourself you will actually stick to - one step at a time instead of all at once.
Sounds Nice...but Who's in Charge?
That would be me! Hey, I'm Alexis Gray, a warrior living her best life diabetes for 21+ years and no complications to speak of. After 10+ years of not caring and letting everyone else in my life care for me, my way of life caused me so much emotional pain that it actually turned physical. After that, I decided to actually put in some effort. I started by working on myself before I started caring about grades.
When I got here, I eventually made it college where I saw in person how devastating life with diabetes could have been for me if I never changed. I also saw what people did to themselves, to us, and discovered in depth why they were doing it. I started changing the entire way I lived my life, not just how I thought. I got off all medications except insulin and have never once let the condition stop me.
After learning what I could in these different areas over time, I realized that I could help people avoid these same fates. So started speaking to other patients in the field and others online. I do NOT want you to take 10+ years to learn what I did or keeping avoiding it until you can no longer ignore it. I also don't want you spending hundreds, even thousands, extra a year just because you don't know certain things.
Am I a doctor? No. Am I a nurse? Not even close. I'm just a fan of learning - someone who was dealt a similar hand in life. And I do alright!
It doesn't have to be scary. I'm here to help, and I'll do it by keeping things simple.
